Anime Characters
Ok, i was just driving home last night and i noticed that 3 out of the four anime series i have, has a teen gurl that is into electronic, computers, etc. Love Hina - Su; Cowboy Bebop - Ed; and Ah! My goddess - Skud. Wat is up with that, not that its bad o anything. I think that since japan is fairly advance in technology, the creators might want to add a bit of its technology knowledge into some of these anime characters. I dont kno, i though u guys might have noticed that too, or is it just me. Wat other anime series has these types of characters.

Looking at ur profile, u r probably one of the few girls that i kno that is tech minded. We need more of u out here in the world, hehe. But i dont mind the other gurls too, we need diversity... anyways back to the subject on anime characters and technology.DJ_Izumi wrote:Isn't it shocking that one of the most tech minded girls is me?

Yes, back to the subject.
I personally hate the 'anime techie' of both genders. The kind of prople who whip up a gizmo out of a toaster oven and a TV remote.
Do you know what you could REALLY create out of a toaster oven and a TV remote? A -really- hot TV remote!
I've been yet to see a Female Anime Techie who had 'practical' and 'realistic' abilities. Well, I suppose the closests was probabbly Lain. She could re-rig computers without the help of her robot maid Rosey. though when she started with the liquid green cooling systerm and the used NASA componants.

I'm in the tech world, so i can sympathize with the constant desire for (attractive) female technicians. Anyways... I'm outta here. I got to make sure that this computer is id10t proof...

Its kind of strange when an anime character just pulls out something from their pockets to fix something. I was watching AMG and Skud just pulled out a bomb out of her shirt when she was gonna figh urd (they were trying to fix some problem they had) ... where did that come from ...
