It's great seeing the old comedic antics of Sousuke and Chidori again.

So is this special episode supposedly the "first" episode of Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu?

The "special episode" is 2 parts of the first TWO episodes, that was not shown on the original airing.

Its like this.

Original Airing:
Episode 1 - Part 1 & Part 2
Episode 2 - Part 3

DVD Release:
Episode 1 - Part 1 and SPECIAL 1
Episode 2 - Part 2 and SPECIAL 2
Episode 3 - Part 3
