Question about the multieditor projects for the VCA.

Post by Castor Troy » Sat Jan 10, 2004 1:18 am

This is assuming the "Best multieditor project" suggestion gets accepted.

From what I've seen, there is no main account for the DDR or NES Projects, etc... although Animix and Mission Improbable have their main accounts. The DDR and NES videos are scattered among the editor's individual accounts.

If the "Best multieditor project" suggestion does get accepted, would the DDR and NES Projects have to create one main account then have all of the editors collaborate with them?

Hey,

That is the main reason why "Best Multi-editor Project" will be rejected. A tracking system for full projects is not available. Putting one entry for the entire project would in all likelyhood create double-entries for videos, on in the project listing and the other in the video creator's listing. Once a consistant multi-video project tracking system is created, the category can be allowed (probably in time for next year's VCA).

This was an incredible year for multi-editor projects, and it's a damned shame that they won't get VCA recognition, considering that the multi-editor projects are probably as popular as some of the most-downloaded AMVs...

Animix could submit as a "completed" project by then, since technically it's been a work in progress this entire time, no?

Oh, Willow, we need to start talking about DVD stuff. Find me on AIM sometime.
