Ever heard of the Metal band Kamelot?

I would be happy to if he asked. However, I really really despise Kamelot. They're terrible. I tried to like them, I really did. I had downloaded a bunch of their songs and just... Ick. Ah well. not everyone can like everything.

And, like Brsrk says, Nailz and I could name tons of good metal bands. But Rubyeye, I think, and some others, could give you more recommendations similar or at least in the same vein as Kamelot. But you might like Conception (same lead singer), though their stuff isn't as well produced. Flow and Parallel Minds are two great albums, in my opinion.

Name a good band like them that doesnt have Attila or Irrumator in it.

If you like Kamelot see if you can get your hands on Conception. That's the band which the current Kamelot singer (Roy Khan) used to sing for. They had 4 releases before they called it quits.
