Serebi-Nation AMV - "Holiday Inn" Project.. help w

Post by serebi » Thu Jan 08, 2004 9:20 am

Serebi-Nation
[S-N] AMV

I am creating a music video using the Holiday Inn song by Ludacris Chingy and Snoop Dogg

I want to use videos of loser frat guys drooling over anime girls and nosebleeds and ..stuff I am thinking of having mostly Keitaro (from love hina) "chillin' at the holiday inn" itd be hilarious

now what I would like to do is get your assistance in finding scenes...

a part of the song:
"there'z some pretty girls in herr; i herr 'em whisperin'..."

see, i'd will globally ask everybody for a similar scene in some anime that corresponds

Current List of video sources:
LOVE HINA
Goldenboy
Johnny Bravo (anybody got avi or mpeg versions of this?)
shoujo animes.. Onegai Teacher, Sailormoon (shudder), mahoromatic

oh, and PM me if you would like to actively work on this project with me also consider joining the serebic production team.

heh, and I am not SERIOUSLY thinking of using johhny bravo.. itd be funny for a random clip of him in there tho

It would be pretty hard to make an ANIME Music video with that.

Its not uncommon for someone to use clips from things that weren't anime... an anime music video is when MOST of it is anime, alot of anime conventions look for most of it (on specifically said 75%) anime in the rules...

but lets not argue about this... :-)

Are any of you familiar with the song? I'll post the whole lyrics and anybody can pick like a line and tell me exactly what would go with that (episode and around what time it happens)

And do the hard work for you?

Hey, I've getting started on a video, too....anyone want to pick out all the scenes for me, but then let me take credit for the videos creation? :o

Think about it...

(Now, after saying all this...there's probably more than enough footage in Love Hina by itself for this video. I don't have Love Hina, and it's been too long since I've seen it to be able to tell you exact episodes, but there are plenty of scenes of "gurls whisperin'".)
Life's short.
eBayhard.

hey sherlock, i am looking for a production team because i feel like doing it this way, now maybe YOU would try to take full credit but thats.. you.

Is there anyone out there with some relevant input? someone that understands the concept of a team?

Okay, onto business, you can find the lyrics to this song here:

http://www.leoslyrics.com/listlyrics.ph ... sDzNR5k%3D

I am using the "clean" version and the first few lines are not included in it along with a few other words. Due to the wide audience that is exposed to my music videos and that I present to, it is wiser to not use "unclean" songs (u kno, words not censored blah).. in the long run it is merely a hassle and people have something to say about it.
(if you are recognized by anyone out there for real, then you can relate)

People generally don't give a tin shit about lyrics when it comes to online distrobution. The only people who ever have a problem with bad lyrics are conventions, so if you forget to submit your radio edit (as one or two people did for Otakon), you get disqualified.

As far as scenes, you're being a lazy bitch by asking us to do the work for you =) You say you're looking for a "production team," but it seems to me like you're just asking us to find your scenes. I don't know about everyone else, but when I make a video I take the time to re-watch (or at least re-skim) the anime to find scenes. Ultimately you can't edit the video well if you don't know your source, and re-watching the anime will help you more than any begging could.
