Aye aye! Okay guys. That's 15 people! Only one more spot remains! Who will rise to the occasion?

How about a female editor? So far the tournament is all male (well.... Rozard's sort of on the fence ;P ) One big sausage-fest. :( Un-fresh!

Though if the next person who signs up happens to be male, I won't reject you or make you feel bad :P I'll just put you against Wonka in the first round ;-D (jk).

List so far:

Corran
dokool
Tash
Devolution
SSJVegita0609
Rozard
dcdeveloperx
Wonka
Tom the Fish
NME
Burntoast
MexicanJunior
OtakuForLife
Voices_Of_Ryan
AisuzuZwei

I've also got the bracket all designed and ready to go so I can get it ready as soon as the last person signs up.

Re-read the Anime Selection section, and you'll realize that you don't know what VOB's to pre-prep yet.

Just Prep one Vob form each of the chosen series....
True scene selection might not completely match up
but, there will be the advantage of time on your side.
But, sure I'll follow the rules to the letter and wait for
the die roll. Sorry, I'm a loop kind-of-guy took numerous
business courses.

You have time to prep your footage.

Hey Atom, you may wanna specify as to what ripping/prepping is.
When Taskmastah and I first battled, we ran into a big problem (and eventually threw out the match) because what I had thought pre prep meant was to rip VOBs, make my D2Vs and then start editing on the fly when the bell rang, however, Task doesn’t edit that way, and did what he (and alot of others) are familiar with, which is to rip vobs, convert them to larger Huffys, and then cut and save the scenes he wanted.
While that's totally valid normally, it gives that editor a huge advantage due to the fact that he has 24 hours to think about and look for the best scenes to fit the vid, reducing the actual Iron Chef to dragging and dropping your clips onto the timeline. (this is in no way meant to badmouth Task. He's by far the most difficult man I’ve ever faced, as well as being one of the best editors out there. It was just a communication mix up that I hope to avoid this time around with this post :D ).

Also as a possibility, you may wish to allow both contestants to edit in this manner, as it makes for a much more "complete" end result.

As an example:

Here is my first match with Task while editing on the fly.
(we only had one hour for this one, and I was definitely not feeling it :()

And here is my second match with him, with 1 hour's worth of clip gathering prep time.
(this one was a 2-hour battle)

If you'll notice, the second one feels much more like an actual vid and less of a chunk.

While you have you have 24hrs for video prep you actually find out the song just before the battle so in this case any scene selection would be blind guessing.
