do you consider final fantasy anime or non anime?

First off .. i finally got a new avatar ... yay ... anyways, back to the subject. I've been debating that question for a while now, but i still cant decide, mayb i need to think and hear more about the different opinions people have ... oh well ...

Final Fantasy an anime? Wellll...no. Why? Because it ain't drawn in the anime style.

The characters are all 'real' looking. Well, semi-real looking. Like Final Fantasy X and X-2. I believe FF7 was anime drawn, though, wasn't it?

Well, there are anime series based on Final Fantasy. Like Final Fantasy: Legend of the Crystals (in which I heard it's VERY trashy) and Final Fantasy Unlimited (more decent).

anyway, final fantasy (the games) has the basic "anime" design, if there is such a thing. i wouldn't call it "anime" but do consider it anime-styled.

Hell yes it's anime. the games, even though they may look "Real life" like, they are still anime, if you put FFX beside unreal tourney, I could tell which one came from Japan and which from america (Of course pretending I had never herd of Final Fantasy and Unreal).

Plus the old games had anime art, weather your looking at the originals, or the PS1 remakes (Even FF9 had anime artwork in the back of the manual).

Final Fantasy the game is not anime, it's more CG type if you were going to compare it to anything....(like Reboot or whatever that show is called), though there are anime's based on Final Fantasy such as Final Fantasy Unlimited.
