Cowboy bebop movie, with arabic?

I was listening to some of the cowboy bebop movie soundtrack today, and was just wondering, in the movie, are they actualy speaking arabic (Or some other eastern tounge, don't hit me if I'm wrong about it being arabic)? In the english dub I'm pretty sure they are, but in the japanese version (Or in the songs) I'm not quite sure. Does any one know?

i think the english dub kept the same music as the japanese dub... so it should be in both... or i'm a monkey's uncle

Yeah, it's the same music.

And yes, I believe there is some eastern music and language in the movie. I jsut got the 'Ask DNA' CD today and one of the songs on it sounds pretty eastern to me. ^^;

I figured the music was, but I mean in the movie. There is at least two minutes where the people are all talking arabic (I'm geussing). In english, it really sounded like arabic, but in japanese, it sounded more like backward speech.

yea im pretty sure its in arabic when spike and that arabic guy(o forgot his name) are walking down moracan street and the arabic guy talks to all his friends. i think thats arabic.

his names rasheed i just watched that part of the movie again and it sure sounds like arabic to me

They should be speaking Maghrebi Arabic, since that's the majority language in Morocco (and, apparently, that part of the movie is on a Moroccan street).

Hmm...

...but, chances are, unless we have a Maghrebi Arabic speaker here, there's no way to verify if it's accurate in the movie.
