It isn't anime, but I've seen some live-action music videos posted around here, and at Anime Weekend Atlanta before. Me and my friends thought it would be spectacular for someone to take clips from Lord of the Rings, the new versions, and set it to the Led Zeppelin song 'Ramble On'. It's got good contextual basis, plus I really think it already fits the movie, not just because of the lyrics, but musically. Just an idea!

The reason there is a ?non-anime? indication on source listings is because there may be some non-anime scenes in a legitimate anime music video. Some good examples of this are DokiDoki?s ?Right Now Someone Is Reading This Title? and Akimbo?s ?One Big Cliché?. Both of those are legitimate anime music videos even though they contain some non-anime video source.

Yeah - you can't upload them and you shouldn't list them, and there are better sites to talk about this, even, but still. That's a cute idea, seeing as Led Zeppelin referenced Tolkien quite a few times as I understand.

I was vaguely thinking of doing a nonserious Zep/Lodoss War vid someday, kind of a double Tolkien-ripoff special.

Anywho, there's http://www.fanflix.net for certain - just because "other people" post about it doesn't mean that it's allowed, just that they haven't gotten busted yet. Good luck.
