what type of quality should i do

k i just created a music vid and im using windows movie maker.

I had problems with high quality in the Playback section so i tried Other and I chose video for broadband conent. The picture is clear but when people download that will it look different?? Does anyone have a better suggestion??

Which version of wmm are you using? If you're using 1.0 then use the 'ntsc avi' format and convert it to mpg. That's your best bet. If you're using 2.0 you can *try* to use the avi format, but if it comes out odd (jumpy) then use the 'high quality large' option - it will give you the highest possible quality for wmv with a nice 640x480 ratio. Chances are the size of the file won't be too bad for the quality (being wmv). If you *can* get the avi version to work, again, try importing it to virtualdub and doing xvid, or converting it to mpg. Wmv is a last resort if you can get the avi formats working for you.

As long as the AMV doesn't go over about 15 megs you could really put the bit rate rate at whatever you wanted. It is a matter of opinion, but I recommend that you should reduce the bit rate as low as possible or at least until it begins to affect the graphics or audio.

15 meg?

Ok, dont listen to Zinc, he has no clue. My last 2.5 minute video was nearly 50 meg, so...
