Super 17 saga dvd review
well i got a hold of the Super 17 saga on dvd. and im quite impressed. first off the dubbing is getting better every time i hear though i still cringe every time i hear Freeza's voice. Cell's voice was very lazy sounding though but thats just me. dailouge is getting better and practicaly close to the original script. they say "hell" quite a few times and even use it in the form an actual curse which is interesting since we dont usually hear db characters curse that much. the only thing im disappointed in was the extras. they still dont have the ending closing themes and they still dont have the new opening ending sequence with Goku going SSJ1,SSJ3 to SSJ4. no textless end themes of the new songs either. i hope they have them on the last disc kinda like FLCL did on volume 3 but i highly doubt it. they did an eps title change from "Escape From HFIL" to "Piccolo's Best Bet" which sounds even more corny. if your a dbz fan then its diffently a buy lots of great action and this is probably one of the best and only good saga in GT. i didnt really care for the Baby saga that much besides the SSJ4 eps which is the only reason im really collecting this series. the only downside is seeing the show butchered on Cartoon Network knowing that hell would probably be replaced by HFIL or underworld or next dimension which Goku only said once in the dub. oh and in case your wondering Goku calls the technique to kill Super 17 with is called the "Super Dragon Fist" so we know what there going to call it when we get to see movie 13. if any one who has seen the dub eps have any comments on it post here. thats my view on the new eps ill leave your opinion of this saga up to you.
