im not sure if this is absolute set in stone, but resurection will only be released as two dvd's , the first containing epps 21-23 and the second 24-26 . this is great news for thoughs like me taht spent $30 on every single dvd . so its only another $60 dollars after ive spent $310 allready on eva, YAY *kills self

oy...geez...I'm really going to be poor...and you know...I'd not calculate the amount of money I've spent on anime...I could probably finance my first year of University with said amount -_-

The only good part of the directors cut was seeing Psycho Asuka in a railyard, and little Rei's popping out of shinji's fingers saying 'Ikari Kun!'

Well, think about it. It's like 2 extra mins of footage, for only 4 eps. Hell, the only major difference in ep 24 is seeing Kaoru talk to seele, and new music when Kaoru hijacks Eva-02. It plays Ode To Joy instead.

How much are you willing to pay for 8mins of footage? It's not you're gonna see Asuka and Shinji get married or anything.
