Over 100 in the TV series i believe, but if you just want to get up to the kyoto arc (The end of the manga) then its only 60 something (Probly should check with DW or someone more knowing on which episodes are included in the manga but it will deffinitly get you a better story if you stay away from the fillerDJ_Izumi wrote:There's only what? 97 of them? :X

There are four segments in Kenshin:
The Pre-Series OVA ("Trust" & "Betrayal" in the USA)
The TV Series
The Movie (timeline-wise, it occurs in the series)
The Post-Series OVA ("Reflections" in the USA)
Both the OVAs and the movie are (wrongly) titled Samurai X, while the series remained Rurouni Kenshin.

Hmm perhaps it is only 90 something. Either way the true story ends at..
62. Kyoto, the Engraved Memory
This is where the Kyoto Arc ends aswell as the manga concerning the TV series. Watching past that cant guarentee you a great or even semi good story line. Not to mention there are a few filler episodes between 1-62 aswell which is why you, as i said before, should probly check with DW because he knows the timeline in which to watch the TV series/OAVS/Movies ect. while remaining true to the actual story of the manga.

rurouni kenshin
i have eps 1-95, and after shisho (ep 65 or sumthin) its just different things happing and only last a few eps long (expect right after shishio its about a 7 ep thing). it helps to watch trust and betryal before the series (you dont have to), cuz its explains a lot l8r in the series.
