I wasn't flaming this forum at all. My apologies if thats what you got out of it. And, when it comes down to conceptualizing, illustration is just the same as video, movies, advertising, animation, whathave you. Just watch a music video and you'll be hard pressed to find one thats totally shot literally. The video has to carry an idea that melds with the song, not mimic it. Again, i say that literlay shots work as well, but it you made a complete video full of literaly shots its gets cheeky and all cliched. Its much more satifying to make something one has to go " ah, ok". and if they only see it once and don't get it, well thats fine, I;m not here to sell ideas and make myself popular, I do it because i like it, and THEN i'll shared it with others. Whether they like it or not is up to them. I feel its much more challenging and worth while to conceptualized you're own vision than to just cut and paste scenes that mimic a song. It the track is completely instrumental you might get what i mean. ;)

I'd say <a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... 7020">this one</a> comes close.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

lol, thats awesome. One of the cases where 'Literal' not only works but is needed. Good stuff.
