Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

R.O.D. the TV AMV

Post by Bahnhof™ » Sun Dec 21, 2003 10:58 pm

I've just finished making an amv for R.O.D. the TV series.
Its a 35.3 MB divx AVI file (740x480, normal). But I've nowhere to up it.
My space is full...
The video is pretty decent, I actually took the time since it was an inspired project. If anyone can spare space (yeah i know its alot) until I've upgraded my domain space in the next few months that would be greatly appreciated. I will return the favour.

If all else fails I havd a crappy 8.5 MB mov version, but for any fan of R.O.D. if doesn't do it justice ^_^;

cheers,

Re-read your member main page and mess with the links on the left hand side. It will all make sense eventually.

Ok, the video runs a bit choppy on my computer becuase of the
DIVX format. Why not use something like TMPGencoder and make
a nice MPEG verison. Which everything up to the oldest mac or laptop
could run easly. Or MPEG 4 encode with xvid that runs as normal
MPEG.

if you want mpegs you end up with smaller windows.
i'm trying to maximize window size with file size. its hit or miss right now, unless you know a supperb Mac video compressor.
I just use quicktime Pro
