Famous doesn't necessarily mean best. It often means that they've done a lot of good work, which is of course great. But there are good videos out there by other people as well.

I fail to see the point of a thread like this. If you hang around long enough you'll see names pop up again and again - that's what you're looking for. Hell, I have a pretty good idea of who's "famous" (fan-famous is the term I'd use, it's not like anyone outside this little niche knows or cares about AMVs, but that's another subject) ...and I've only been here a couple of months.

So. Knowing those two things, why bother?

Yeah, be like me, you should go around on the boards and in the chat room pretending like you know what people are talking about, and who the great/famous AMV creators are. To tell you the truth, I've accidentally offended more than one "well known" AMV creators to their face by asking if I should know them ^_^ I wonder if this is better or worse than posting this kind of thread...
