Yeah, i have a dual head matrox card with two monitors off the same card and I don't have any problems with displaying any video on the 2nd monitor. In fact it has a neat mode which automatically fullscreens any video that you are playing on the primary monitor on the second one even if only one pixel of video is able to be seen on the primary monitor.

I have a dual monitor setup. I use a television as my secondary monitor with my EVGA GeForce 4 MX 420

Cost me 80 bucks back in the day, It is much cheaper now. ($47.39 at Pricewatch.com)

The video card has an analog video out. Another advantage to doing it this way is if you ever need to put amvs other things to tape you can hook it and your sound card directly to your vcr and record. I did that for the anime club a few times :)

You can set it up so that whenever you produce some type of overlay on your computer it automatically puts it fullscreen on the tv even while the playback program is minimized. The only time I ever got much use out of this setup was for the anime club as I said before...

I'll be upgrading soon...
