This is a really nice show. I still have to get the last disk, though. After I finished watching episode 19, I was doing this for an eternity :-O and

and was on the verge of tears (didn't quite get there, but I almost did).

Also, being the notorious Eva fanboy that I am, I can say that there are a LOT of similarities. I was having quite a fun time trying to recognize and compare the similarities.

Seriously though, I only saw the first 5 episodes of the series, and I thought this is worth it. Now if only the RIT Anime Club get more episodes on DVD o I can avoid watching fansubbed video tapes.
