Best animes of 2003

I just want a summary of this year and what was good (and when I say good, I mean damned good because if I watch one more crappy anime my brain is going to explode and seep out of my eye sockets.). I have catching up to do and I'm finaly willing to bring myself to start watching anime again.

I'm generally not too up on current series, but Onegai Twins, I think, is a rather nice romantic comedy, if you don't mind a little fanservice. Of course, it's got its dramatic moments as well, which are sometimes even better than the comedy part of it.

And I think that's the only series I've seen that came out in the last year.

I too would vote for FMP: Fumoffu. Yes, it's mostly mindless comedy, but it has its moments. If you like/tolerate cute stuff, Bottle Fairy is a good choice.

Also the few eps of Avenger seemed interesting. (Or was it just the music?)

All in all, this year hasn't been so great in terms of new animes, I think. Some watchable series but none of them were especially memorable.

I'd say Naruto. It's basically about a boy who has a legendary Demon Fox within him who wants to become the head ninja/Hokage of his village and be recognized by everyone. It's addictive, and currently being fansubbed.

5.Mahorubu or soemthing like that. its about this kid that all the girls want his genes because he has strong dormant magic powers.

I know there is more Im just haveing a brainfreeze but I would say this year was very good for anime.
