Heh anime is my crack addiction. I pay ridiculous amounts for my own enjoyment.
......But why?
I can't go to cons, I live.... out of the way, and saving up a load of cash and telling my parents to "screw off cus I was going" just isn't worth the effort. ADV $25? Where? No where I know, I have been at every anime distributer in my province and half of them in the next, I haven't found those prices to be true.

I may be damned for saying it, but if Fansubs and bottlegs (I own no bootlegs) are the only way I will see anime, the God damnit I will! I will get my "Crack" any way I can, even if it means leaving the planet and moving to Babylon 5.... well, actualy, anime is way cheaper on mars....... But ever since that damn trade block went up they haven't been able to get much.... Ah, I have a few friends in Psy core, and a few secrets they don't want getting out....... Hmmm, yes, I will be getting my anime very cheap now.

Boy, they really rip you Canadians off, $23.99 a DVD disk (all comapnies have the same price) for me. Manga is about $10.00-14.99 depending on the series.

And tag, don't get the bootlegs. Just....don't. :|

If you have a fansub and you like it and you don't buy the commercial release when it becomes available then your a piece of shit nuff said. Support anime in america or don't watch it. The only exception to this rule is the Inu Yasha commercial which is horrid.

Well, I am from Canada, and I always make sure to shop arounf. Yes, you definately can get ADV titles for $25. Also, titles from Manga Entertainment always seem to be cheap. $20-25 depending on the series. I always shop, and look at prices for anime DVDs. I have quite a lot of DVDs, and I saved a lot of cash, too. Oh, and Tag, check out CDPlus.com. They are a Canadian site, so everything is in Canadian Dollars, and they have a nice selection of anime titles for a good price, especially titles from ADV and Manga Entertainment.

Only 1/3rd of us are french, and the rest of us don't like that third. They even tried to seperate from the rest of Canada in 1997 so we invaded Montreal.
