A video I'm planning uses the R1 Disney release of Spirited Away, which, while not as bad as the R2 Buena Vista release, still has a noticable red tint to it. I'd like to color-correct it back towards the film print colors using AVISynth, but I'm unsure as to the correct settings.
I'm assuming that I'd be using either ColorYUV, Tweak, or RGBAdjust (the last after ConvertToRGB32). Has anyone already done this that is willing to share their script that acomplished it?

Not completely. The R2s, from what I've been reading, have about 30% too much red; the R1s have about 10%. I've been using the scene of Sen following Haku through the garden to judge; the flowers should be white.AbsoluteDestiny wrote:I thought the red tint was completely fixed on the R1?
I have the R2 and know a script to fix that one but not the R1.
I recommend comapring frames with the version you see in the trailer - that should be completely tintless.
Would you be willing to share your R2 script? Maybe I can adapt it.
