Anyways...

Post by Clara Yuri Asaki » Sun Dec 07, 2003 3:20 pm

Listen, once my forum gets back up and you actually see it, we'll talk more about this. Until then, let's just stop, cause it's literally pointless. (or at least, let's not talk about it here.... Make a new thread or something if you really want to continue now)
___

Anyways.... so... no one else has mentioned any favorite pairs... Well, I guess I'll name a few that I like:

Excel & Hyatt (Excel Saga) - Excel is my favorite Anime lady. And well, Hyatt is really the only other woman Excel spends time with. But then again, as far as Yuri goes, I don't think Hyatt could handle it... x_x

Kei & Yuri (Dirty Pair Flash) - I don't know... I just think they really should've seriosly gotten together...

Terra & Celes (that's right, Final Fantasy VI) - They were so close... I really thought they were in love...

And I thought I could think of more... but I guess I really just love the pairing of anynomous chars in my Shoujo-Ai/Yuri pics...

Heh... I couldn't care less what most people on forums looked like.

Other than that...

PS I am not, nor have ever been, a member at Clara's forums. I just think she's got as much right to have her own little fantasy-safe-place as the next person, and I don't like the smell of flame/overt bitter sarcasm & ill-disposed members running amok. :?
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

#1 I fail to see how people on the internet would differ archetypally from people in real life.
Nope, never heard of him. I was just basing my direct experiances. You can basicly label most people on the internet, I do find that online the rules are different and behaviour isn't like in the real world. You can simply slot different people into common character types.

The senseless idiot that uses words like 'ur' and 'r2'.
The dry bitchy cynic.
The loud flamer.
The giddy moron.
The airheaded girl.
The 'girl' that writes everything in pink but is really a greesy loser male in his parents basement.
Ect...
Otohiko wrote:#2 I don't believe in archetypes in the first place, thus the slightly-negative connotation.
I just find it's an easy thing to apply in the real world so you can create a basic 'picture' of a person.

Now my dear, you are mistaking archetyping for stereotyping. Anyways, you are like the 50th person who thinks that same thing about me. And I don't want to argue about this again.

And look at that, my forum is back up. (3rd pic in my Sig) Now, if you will be so kind as to go prove your stereotype about the people there please. (or rather, find out that you can't)

So, good bye everyone, my short stay at a-m-v.org was almost fun, but now it's time to leave again.

I'll admit, yuri can be good. I just happen to be very, very, very picky, since most of it is stupid and non-sensical.

My main beef is, in most 'lemon' cases however, the situation is like this:

Idiot 1: Wow, she hugged her plutonic friend.
Idiot 2: How cute... they must be in love, wouldn't it be neat if those girls got married?
Idiot 1: Are you thinking what I'm thinking?
Idiot 1 and Idiot 2 in stereo: TIME TO MAKE THE PERFECT FANFIC!!!

And then Izumi vomits. :\
