Yeah which is why I won't reply. His reply doesn't seem to retort well..anything anyone has said. It's just his continued retardedness. He always does this by making outrageous claims like "all DC owners aren't gamers" and crap like that. And calling Nights a mediocre game? Hahahaha! And thinking all those games were ported? Wow for a "non-gamer" like me, I wonder how I knew about Panzer Dragoon for Saturn...and not Orta. Must be my hardware telling me :)

And for the record I didn't say there were no good RPGs, just an unfortunate lack of them, which made PS2 more appealing to me.

I'm a Fable skeptic, it seems like too much emphasis is being placed on making the game look pretty and have nifty new features and not enough on memorable substance. As for the whole Sqaure/Enix thing, they're doing some work for Nintendo as well (FF:CC).
Actually I quite agree. The PSX has all my favorites and PS2 (although many mediocre RPGs) has the big ones. It's the main reason I chose PS2 as well. Now that I have a job, I bought all of them :)

But let's be honest on NIntendo...I mean PS2 gets FFX, FFX-2 and FFXII while they get the kiddy looking FF:CC. I mean sure it's some support, but it's obvious which hardware they're backing more ;).

Either way, I find this thread pretty good other than Hatter's retarded remarks, but that's nothing different then the software forums. I wonder if he really realizes how stupid he is and how everyone hates him :?: Regardless, I like this thread

I think a check list needs to be made of gaming acomplishments. Lofty goals for good games. It wont be anything to live or die by, but I's still like the goals to be selected carefuilly despite that fact. I'll start.
One suggestion at a time.

Beating the Genesis version of Shinobi without cheating... Damn near impossible.

Leading a map on a FPS in kills.
(Of course you would need to be competing against skilled players. Like a CS server full of league play clans or something.)

Getting 100% on Super Mario World, without a guide. Took me eight years to find Soda Lake.

Saying no guide on certain games is like saying to find your way through endless winderness without a map or compass. Certain games don't need guides, others it's a nececity just ot get to the end, let alone doing extra quests.

Oh, Excalibur 2 on FF9.

Sorta like Dark Cloud II, it was REALLY cool how they made it look almost like a 2D anime even though the play was 3D, but overall the game itself just wasn't that incredible or riveting (play control was also a bit lacking).

What's going to ruin Fable isn't the hype it's the hordes of fans that say "Screw it I'm tired of waiting." because the game has been in development for 4 or 5 years without seeing the light of day and they're trying to add in extra features that people REALLY arent going ot find that important.

Although I agree that the playability of the game was lacking, the ramifications of the game recognising pretty much every object in the game for the purpose of taking photos for the invention system certainly made me go ' :o '.
