It was more of a nod of approval, coupled with a slight parody of the forum-goers that tend to mark their agreement with things like x2 or ^2.

finaly somewone understands why i made this thread not to argue about whether there is or isint going to be a secconfd season but to see who has info on it but mr know it all had to post that there is definitly no 2nd season and even if it was a ru or which it isint wouldnt u want to hear someone say there is i mean wen i watched berserk i really gotten into it and with an ending like that theres many questions that havent been answerd leaving me dyin for another season or ova or something to add besides just the manga

Ok, about this whole issue: I have a feeling that kakashi might be (even unintentionally) correct. An announcement WAS made, and one other person even brought forth additional information. It was also stated that the powers to be WANT to make a second season, but have yet to get the ball rolling (info from Sept, not the latest obviously). Yes it might seem strange that this news came from an american distributor, but its possible that on the japanese side the contracted company might have marketing reasons to keep this project fairly low profile (as it is still a long way off). Meanwhile, the dubbing side, who is (obviously) NOT making this anime, has little reason to hide the details they have been given. Their mentality very well could have been: "I mean, the details are pretty sketchy anyway, how much could it hurt?"

Saying that someone said "We wanna make it" is nothing close to "an official announcement." You're obviously not reading this thread too closely since he CONTINUALLY kept saying there was an "official announcement" of a second season and all of us retorted with "nu uh...prove it." and they didn't...time and time again.

And let's not even go into why the US distributor has no real information or right saying anything about well...anything because well...that's pretty damn obvious. Especially when it's Media Blasters. Just go to their webpage and look at the "organization." You trust a company like that? Esp. some random rep from there who probably hasn't even spoken to anyone in japan?

Cant really find anything that I disagree with. Also I agree with CaTaClYsM, about the quality.

Furthermore, I never said the possiblity didn't exist that one day a second season could come about, like what DWchang said, you said official announcement when all you had was a rep saying that they would like to continue the series. That is barely an announcement, little alone an official one.
