berserk second season

i was just wondering if any of you have info on the seccond season of berserk that has been anounced since most people say the seccond season is 10x more graphic than first season its ossible no japanese television stations will air it making it longer for it to make an american release

I just read in a press release that 4Kids got the liscense for the second season.

The VP in charge of the project was quoted earlier stating, "We plan to make this season even better than the first for our consumers. Even though our editors will be hard pressed removing all the excess stuff for an early 2005 realease."

Too bad this supposed second season doesn't exist yet let alone an announcement about it.

The manga on the otherhand is up to volume 27 or something. I believe the TV series covers up through (maybe) 11. But again, there is no second season...only the manga.

The manga is up to volume 25 with volume 26 being released sometime in December. And your right there is no second season.

i resent that
there have been plenty of anoucements of the seccond season official anouncements and like the first season which diddnt follow the manga the seccond will not either

Then enlighten us with these official announcements. And the series did basically go by the manga, they left out the things they felt weren't important for the season, and changed a few things to be more to their liking. BTW, any new season of BERSERK would start with season 3, eps 1-13 were season 1, and eps 14-26 were season 2. Therefor the new season would have to be season 3.
