when goku's fighting cell, and he aim his kamehameha wave towards earth freaks cell out, and krillians like, he wouldn't use it. and then he hears "kameee"

Im a lame ass that is going to make statements about a show I have never seen just because other people seem to disslike the show because its cool to disslike the show.

I thought that Cell reenactment was hilarious. =P Also, I'm not sure which episode it is but there's one scene where Goku is bartering with one of those Supreme Ki's and is offering up nekkid pics of Bulma as payment. Funny stuff indeed...

1. I don't have a problem with dubs. I prefer subs, but then again I do like the Ranma, original Akira, Goldenboy and Evangelion dubs.
2. I hate DBZ because...I just do. It's called intuition. I know it will pale compared to stuff I have already seen.
3. Anime is "animation", not a cartoon. If it's developed and created in Japan, it's anime, a genre of animation. Even Pokemon and DBZ fit the anime criteria.
4. There are a few good DBZ AMVs. "This Is Your Life" by Scott Melzer is one. The majority, however, are tired, derived, and redundant.
5. Name some Linkin Park AMVs that stand out and aren't random DBZ clip fests or dull.
6. DBZ fans who like other series are usually fine. DBZ fans who only like DBZ and obnoxiously toot the DBZ horn DO suck. Sorry, some of us don't have the time, energy, or inclination to be tolerant of "one series" morons.
7. Haven't been to a con ever. I wouldn't boo if a DBZ AMV came on, but the fact that people do says something, doesn't it?

ive seen a lot of this (lol). having said that, ihave a few thoughts:

1. I enjoyed DBZ (nice action anime) til the buu saga, it went downhill from there

2. I didnt see much of GT, so i cant say anything bout that.

3. DB was only good for a few laughs (thats bout it).

now, keeping with my tradition to have threads continue their original topic, my favorite part has to be when roshi "accidentaly" fall on bulma and grabs her boob, and she bashes him with the sun-bathing chair. (i never saw the actual episode it was in, or i might have missed it, but i saw it in an AMV, and it was funny as hell).

For the LAST TIME! (Ok, it probably won't be the last) A cartoon is any drawing or collection of drawings that is meant to be humorous. The words "Anime" and "Cartoon" are NOT mutually exclusive.

The following anime series qualify as cartoons:

Ranma 1/2
Tenchi
Saber Marionette J
Excel Saga
Jubei-chan
Slayers
DB-DBZ (I don't know, people think it's funny, so I'll take their word for it even though I don't see it)

Even Cowboy Bebop has the potential to be accurately labeled as a cartoon depending on the episodes you look at.

Note: This is just in response to kthulhu's post and is not meant as a response to Castor Troy's playful little post.
