One thing that annoys me about a lot of officail DVDs is that the cover art sucks compared to bootlegs. One of my friends got Evangelion in bootleg form, and the cover art is fricking breathtaking! It's just amazing. And I really liked the VHS cover art for Eva, but not even that compares, and the officail DVD art is just not at all worthy.

Plus it only had Japanes language track (with different subtitle options) which I like since that's the only language track I ever need. I wish ADV would just steal some of the bootleg cover art and use it though, it's not like the bootleggers are going to sue, since they where using copyrighted material to begin with.

Great idea! If ADV steals the bootlegger's cover art, which was copyrighted material anyways, then there's no way that they can be sued by the copyright owner themselves!

yeah, the bootleg covers are better from what i've seen too
but i'm okay with that

oh and yeah, my box set had all english/french/spanish/japanese audio track and the subtitles for the japanese translation. i don't have chinese on mine though.

All of the dubs were accurate too from from i saw, with the japanese subtitles (in english of course), i compared to the english that i obviously know and with the spanish that i know, my friend compared the french. i don't know what regions my dvds play in though, whatever region the U.S. is in i guess as far as i know.
If you're reading this, you've gone too far...PREPARE FOR RETRIBUTION!!
Don't judge an AMV by it's anime.. u nooB ;D

The bootlegs typically take the coverart from the Japanese releases.

The newer bootlegs are now starting to copy (meaning rip) from the American releases. So, some bootlegs are identical to the American release except they have fewer discs, and therefore less quality.

But what payment methods do they accept? Are all the prices so low?
I know they take most major credit cards, and that's all I need to know. I got one of the FLCL DVDs from BestPrices and paid for it with my Visa... and yes, the prices do seem to be all that low.

Do you have to use paypal though? I don't want to have to use paypal.
My sister used it once and got really burned.
