Actually, Bebop's got a ton of real products. There's a scene in the movie where Jet and one of his police friends are watching a Western... there's a Starbucks cup sitting on the dashboard. My friend identified it as having the old logo.

Personally, I always liked the fact that, in Inu Yasha in the modern times, Kagome and friends eat at WacDonald's. It seems like I've seen WacDonald's other places--is that just the Japanese name for McDonald's?

I've always wondered who that was. She looks so mischievious.

You also can't forget the hardware. Spike uses a Magnum Research Mark XIX Desert Eagle pistol (I'm assuming he's using .50 Action Express, because the cartridges sure don't look like .357 or .44 Magnum, or .44 Auto Mag for that matter).

Out of curiosity, is there any anime series in which one character uses a .475 Wildey Magnum, or an AMT .44 Auto Mag? It really annoys me that Alucard has those custom pistols made, when there are mass-produced hunting autoloaders that already deliver the performance he desires.

But Alucard wouldn't be nearly as badass if he had mass-produced guns.

Oh come on! How badass was Clint Eastwood when he introduced the masses to the Smith and Wesson Model 29 .44 Magnum (a gun that has been mass produced since the mid 1960s). Besides, it isn't so much the gun that makes Alucard badass, but how he uses that much stopping power.

In Azumanga Daioh Tomo kept making references to Lupin III.
