Brian Eno
If you ever need some good soft music or are a fan of ambiance, get this guy's stuff.
I suggest: (In no order)
1) Waters of March
2) By This River
3) The Big Ship
No one is untouchable, no man is bulletproof, we all must meet our moment of truth.

And if you like some good ambience combined with some wacky sh#t, I strongly suggest 'The Essential Fripp and Eno', consisting of 'No Pussyfooting' and 'Healthy Colors' suites.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

I've never been able to get into his stuff myself. But as far as ambient/drone music goes, it's my favorite style of music. Hell, I've put out 2 CDs worth of it. My faves include Windy & Carl, The Asuza Plane, The Charlambides, Flying Saucer Attack, The Stars of the Lid, R, The Dead C. Good stuff. Also, the soundtrack to George Washington is phenominal.
