question for download speed

is it normal, that the download speed is only 2,3...2,5 kB / s ??

thats very slow, isn't it??

I have a broadband connectionen 1500 down / 384 up

provider is 1&1

Sounds to me like dialup from a foreign country (hence the use of ,s instead of .s)

this may be the reason - overseas connections aren't great.

hmm... wonder if there's anything that would help. How muh do you get on downloads usually?

My speed on Local is usually around 300kbps BTW, from Canada.

the server is in the US??

usualy I have no problems with us servers.

my normal downloadspeed is 90...120kBps

I startet a little unfriendly. sorry for this.

I'm a germen guy, and its nearly impossible to get animes. there are only 2 or 3 sources. one is the UK, the other the US or, fron japany.

I'm a little sad about this. now, the downloads of this videos is realy slow, so it is also nearly impossible to download more than one. it takes about 5 to 6 hours. thats very long.

has anybody anny idea, how I can get a video faster??

oh no, your tone is perfectly fine.

I'm just thinking what would cause this.

Try again later, see if anything changes. If not, see if Phade (the admin) knows why. Maybe it's high traffic either on the server's side or your side that's slowing you down.

a friend (also big anime fan) told me that this is normal. the range is from very slow, to full speed. he gaves me the tip to use a downloadmanager with only one source. so I will try this.

thx so far, and hopefully one of the admins knows a other reason for this.
