i used to be... but i think i turned to the dark side... i'm editing 24fps now!! HELP ME!!!

Yea, hot damm. I really miss using the two VCR method too. I'm glad to hear that you are sticking with it.

But seriously, I sort of agree with you in the sense that people should just learn what they are doing before getting all slick and MTV with their stuff. How many videos have you seen that has an effect on every single clip?

I'm joking of course. But old school transitions were done video to video, using a hardware board for fades and effects. Now of course you don't even have to segment your video, the program will pick out scene transitions for you and drop them all into a directory.

Actually I got started using a dps par on an amiga toaster. Now THAT is doing it the hard way. Damm single frame vcr recording.
