I've been looking for this band for next to forever...very sharp, aggressive, thrash-guitar driven black metal from Austria. Note that they're not the same as Belfegor, which is total Immortal-esque blastbeat insanity from Poland (and the only time I've bought a record by mistake and not regretted it).el_farlo wrote:11/24 - Belphegor - Lucifer Incestus
I'll agree that the Opeth DVD looks extremely interesting, but more intriguing is the fact that Grand Belial's Key is still together and putting out new material.
Wait, what the fuck? *FLESHGRIND* is still active? Damn, now I have to buy another disc with Mortician music on it.

Shin Hatsubai is a Premiere-free studio. Insomni-Ack is habitually worthless.

Especially that KORN album... WOO..flint_the_dwarf wrote:So many of those albums look very tempting...
Kai: You should check out Mercenary's Everblack album if you havent already ... they're one hell of a band from Denmark and seem to coincide with the type of music you enjoy. Wanna get the new Digi Pack with bonus track that was released through The End Records recently.

I keep hearing good shit about Mercenary, then not going out and buying their CDs. It sucks, but I'm always like, well, I know THIS band is good, but I've only got $25, so I'm going to buy this ten-years-out-of-print Combat original used, and put down the rest on this CD from some Russian or Malaysian band that I've heard like half of one song from, ever, on the off chance that it might be good, because I'm never going to see them in a US record store ever again, and putting off the band I was actually looking for.
It sucks having broad tastes.

I used to have that problem, then I narrowed my tastes to a few bands that I can depend on. If I have a hankering for something fresh, then I'll look for the rare stuff.Kai Stromler wrote:I keep hearing good shit about Mercenary, then not going out and buying their CDs.
