There are a lot of great emotional anime, but the one that has affected me most emotionally is Evangelion. Some shows are shocking and intense (mainly talking about American dramas here) but in Evangelion I could understand the characters, so it was way more powerful.

Next time, use spoiler tags. I don't care if lots of people played Final Fantasy VII, but respect the ones who didn't.max3000 wrote:Sorry to dig up threads but i think this one should be kept alive.
Eva is the most emotional enime' i've ever seen.
And i dunno if it counts but Final Fantasy VII was very sad when [WARNING SPOILER!!!] Aeris died...Almost made me cry *snif*

Yeah, I have to agree with you. I think I already posted in this thread, so I'll keep it breif, but Evangelion definetly had the most emotional affect on me. Extremely intense stuff, and I really understood the characters and what was happening, not like some other things where it's really intense but you don't have a clue why anything is happening or who any of the characters are. The episode with EVA 03 in it was especailly powerful...max3000 wrote:Sorry to dig up threads but i think this one should be kept alive.

No offense Angel, but he put a spoiler warning in anyway, can't people control their eyes?
