Anime Urban Legends..

Okay..I made this thread to see how many strange and bizarre stories there are out ther based on anime and the fans that went perhaps too far..

One I heard is where I kid cut his face so he'd have a scar like Kenshin...unfortunately...he put the scar on the wrong side of the face..and supposedly killed himself.

Another is a little kid after watching the episode of Gundam Wing where Heero tears up Relena's invitation note, starts tearing up paper and yells to people "I'm gonna kill you".

Anyone else here unusually stories like these?

I heard once that sometimes people like to waste money to dress up like anime characters and act like them.

If that's true, then what the fuck is the world coming to.

I heard once some chick killed herself after not winning an AMV contest. Jumped right off the 5th floor of the con hotel that night.

I heard tha a kid tried to cut a scar from his forehead to under his left eye to match the scar that Squall has from FF8, however in the process he spilled with the knife as he was going across his nose and stabbed himself in the left eye.

I heard about this one DBZ fan who got into a fight with another kid. He was getting his ass kicked, when he suddenly yelled "KAIOKEN" (or however it's spelled), and managed to knock the other guy out with one punch. Guess the yelling gave him an adrenaline rush or something.

Then there's "the Greast Anime Convention Story Ever", which involves an anime convention happening at the same place at a religious convention, with one female at the religious convention having a heart attack and dying after an anime convention attendee dressed up as a demon appeared in an elevator and said, "Going down."
