I would say this

80% "The (add anime here) ends in a non-conclusive maner. Nothing is resloved yet for some reason the writers are acting like it is" (Trigun)

15% "The (anime here) just ends" (His and Her Circumstances)

3% "The (anime here) has a perfect ending and then goes on 10 episodes too long" (Eva and Kenshin)

2% "The (anime here) end perfectly resolving everything needing resolution though the ending may be happy or said" (Cowboy Bebop and The Irresponcible Captain Tylor)

Strongly disagree (esp. for Eva).

I somewhat agree for Kenshin *IF* you mean the TV series. If it's the manga, it ends beautifully.

As for Eva, yeah...let's cut the 10 episodes that had substance and the entire meaning and point of the show...yeah.
