ADV does have quite a bit of anime that I'd rather not even think about, but with Evangelion, and Samurai X (Kenshin OVAs) under their belt. As well as ReBoot, and Shadow Raiders as non anime, I've got to give them some credit...

Bandai dubs = rawk
Bandai pirces = AUGHHHH!

but still, they honestly produce the best in terms of US anime releases. Bebop for example, plus they aren't always bad in terms of price, hell, I bought all 3 Outlaw Star volumes 3 years ago for about 60, and 9 eps a volume is aweful nice.
The best effects are the ones you don't notice.

Plus that Anime Network Channel they created, and that live-action Evangelion movie they're working on (which I don't what the details are :? ).
