Damn you ADV!

I broke down, I bought my first ADV DVD...

I have the buyers remorse.

I like Gasaraki, I've seen it, have Divx and DVD ripped SVCDs of it, sure... I was at a bargin store, it had a rack of DVDs, all for 9.99. So I started leafing threw and found Volume 1 of Gasaraki. Huzzah, the worlds only 'intelegant' and realistic mecha anime, volume one for meer pocket money.

There were a few comercials on the disk... 10mins and 20seconds of comercials... BEFORE the menu, and the 'next' button only works after the comercial has been playing for 5 seconds. And what comercial isn't on the disk? The comercial for Gasaraki itself, which would have made a nice little extra, ya know? Instead, the only extras are still images and text screens.

Supporting anime is bad. :\

no, just ADV. Plus their dubbing jobs suck about 80% of the time

at least they don't charge an arm and a leg for songle DVD's ...

The place i buy anime at is boycotting Bandai and Pioneer (geneon) untill they fix their prices. Right now he's paying more for pinoeer and bandai stuff then what he's selling ADV anime for.

The dub for Gasaraki is actually decent IMO. Good series, despite being released by ADV.

ADV released uncut sailor moon season's 1-2 therefore i praise them 8)

Full Metal Panic, eh? Another good choice. Dubbing was pretty good for this one in my opinion.

yup, ADV is getting a little better but not great still. AD better be the fucking most amazing thing ever or they will burn, YOU CANNOT FUCK GOD UP AND AD IS SUCH.
