Which movie?

As far as I know, No Kenshin is called Samurai X in Japan. :?

I wouldn't know about Japan - I live in Indiana. The movie I bought here says 'Samurai X' on the dvd case. But the animation style is definitely the Rurouni Kenshin style rather than the ova style - and it fits in after the Kyoto arc, so it looks like Rurouni Kenshin to me. Only the title is 'Samurai X'. :?

Ah! I should explain - I was referring to the "Western version" Savia spoke of since the topic was how the Western version had changed the ova title to Samurai X. I was commenting that they'd *also* titled the Rurouni Kenshin movie as 'Samurai X' - making their own (Western) connection between the two. ^_^;;

Listen, fuckwad- I know that it's the same series. They took a perfectly good OVA and fucked it up with cartoony google eyes and unecessary comedy. The OVA is a story in and of itself, they should have left it as it was, instead of turning the 'deadliest assasin' into a pathetic joke.

Yet they are both based on the manga, which has the comedic elements to a certain extent, and IIRC the TV series also predates the OVA.
