hmmm you wouldn;'t happen to use the forums at paranormal.com would you?

Well the basic plot line is an agency (called Hellsing) in London has an ovelry powerful vampire named Alucard working for them. This agency's job is to destroy the ghouls and junk vampires that are infesting britian. In the first episode Victoria Celes becomes a vampire when she allows Alucard to bite her after she lets him shoot through her to kill the vampire that was holding her. The story continues from there when she is transfered from the elite D-11 forces into Hellsing and she begins her training/assignments for hellsing as a vampire.

personaly i thihnk he;;sing's a great show, not the best, but good none the less. Very cool looking action sequences, and interesting use of mythology. Some people complain that because Alucard is somewhat invincable that it takes away from the show, but to me that just makes it even better. I really recoment you try out this show. If you have a broadband connection it'll be even easier, but i f you liked it don't forget to buy it. now i hope i didn't throw in any major spoilers ...

Watch the dubbed version! It's funny as HELL since the subtitled version is WAY different. Plus the dubbed voices was pretty believable since Pioneer hired real British actors and actresses (except for Alucard since it's done by Crispan Freeman).

yea i forgot to mention that. The dub is tollerable (i'm a guy who jsut dosn't like dubs),. i watched a little bit of id dubbed, and i must say, some of their lines are pretty funny like victoria's "Bloody hell!" in the second episode ... sounds halarious ... i should probably stop watching british tv on ShowCase.

Yeah, but for some reason I just hated the way Victoria sounded. She gave a high pitched "Master" line every 3.5 seconds and it got real annoying. Other then that, awesome series, dubbed or subtitled.

So far, it is about good vampire killing evil vampire, something like that, i have only seen like one episode so im still unsure, but it seems like a good anime.

Yeah, Hellsing the show is very good. If you can, check out the manga too. It's longer than the show and has a better storyline. Darkhorse should be releasing a U.S. version in December. (I have the Japanese ones , vols 1-5, and I've heard 6 is coming soon...)

I definatly recommend Hellsing. If possible though, try to get the dvds instead. (Its the right thing to do, plus the quality will always be better on dvd, unless of course the file you download is a couple gigs...)

Also, on the english dub of Big O, I noticed Alan sounds like Alucard, and thought hmmmm, then I saw Crispin Freeman's name in the credits, and went oooohh. He's pretty good, doing that weird, creepy voice, but it sounds cool.

And that one vampire who acts like an American punk kid... man, he is sooo funny in the dubbed version. :)

I have a feeling I should know who Crispin Freeman is, after having seen him in the Hellsing credits, but I can't think of where else I've seen his name.
