It had no point. It matched with the song (but good Lord, what doesn't?), but it didn't go anywhere with it. The scene cuts were schizophrenic, completely random.
He took an over-used song and put it to a cliche topic. Dramatic action with "In The End"--gee, that's new.
I could care less who did the vid, as long as it's good.
This video was not good.
But this is not why I'm pissed. I'm angry because he has the gall to complain when people give his video the ratings it deserves. He puts out his first video--his first, completely average for a newbie video--and instead of having the good grace to accept good and bad comments (which all creators, old and new, should have), whines about it. Incessantly. He makes a thread titled "Kurley's Revenge!", as if he was righting some great, world-shattering injustice. He repeatedly urges the readers to give him inflated scores because his video "deserves" it, and when he gets those scores--8.3!--he still complains that it needs to be higher. Bitch, bitch, bitch, whine, whine, whine.
I am not angry because I'm part of some giant conspiracy against poor lil' genius newbies who get beat down on by the slaves of the great creators--who so obviously have inferior "artistic vision" to Kurley here, right?--or because I'm trying to maintain some kind of crappy status quo against Linkin Park videos. No, I just cannot stand whiners. And even worse than whiners are pretentious whiners, and this boy is competing for the gold medal in that division. Frankly, if you look at others' posts, you'll see they're mad for the same reason.

Alright, I'm going to work this one bottom to top.
First, by posting on this thread, you yourself are condoning this form of behiavior. ( I happily admit that I'm fine with these sorts of things, and am willing to post in them)
Second, by posting about how his video deserves a 3, and continuing to use "superior or insulting language" i.e. "lil' genius newbies", etc. You're acting like an irrational, crybaby, self-absorbed little boy. STOP IT (both the posts AND all of the BITCHING). (caps use was intentional)
According to you, Kearly believes he has superior "artistic vision". He HAS indeed stated that he does have AN artistic vision, but has never declared himself better than any of the "greats"...great at what, we'll never know.
Again, you've mentioned that he has the nerve to complain about the reviews that his video "deserves". Who are you to decide what it deserves, and hell, if you want to state what it deserves, DON'T HATE THE MAKER HATE THE VIDEO...this site has opinion posting for a reason...and don't be lame, leave WHY you trashed his score.
About the "giant conspiracy" and "KEARLY's REVENGE" lines...for one, the conspiracy he mentions is not at all a "giant" one...he says it's TWO people. How many friends do you have that TWO PEOPLE is a "giant conspiracy". Oh and "revenge" tends to be targeted at one or two people...not righting great world injustice, in which case it would be "Kearly's Watergate" or "Saving Private Kearly".
