um..what are hits?

when you're searching for amvs, next to the number of opinions are hits. what are they, are they like how many times they've been downloaded or what??

Interestingly, I saw some commented out code to that effect in one of the searches. Maybe it was possible at one point, or just planned, or who knows... Only Phade, I guess.
