And Now for Something Completely Different.

Post by corrin_wyndryder » Wed Oct 15, 2003 5:19 pm

Hey, Everybody,

Recently, I have started a Web Comic with a few friends of mine and we'd love it if you'd come see it and show you're support. It can be found at:

<a href="http://www.WeAreBoring.com/"> www.WeAreBoring.com <a/>

Please go see it, I've worked very hard on making it come together. :D

BTW, the page itself looks best with IE. Netscape and some MAC browsers somehow change the website coding and some things don't work because of it. I'm not quite sure why. :?

Thanks for checking it out. It is a continuing comic, so every weekday at midnight, a new page will be uploaded, so be sure to come back more often. And tell your friends about it! :D

I don't understand. Did you navigate with the "Next Panel" and/or the "Next Comic" all the buttons on the theater? Or is it just you're waiting for more story?

Kusoyaro: We don't need a leader. We need to SHUT UP. Make what you want to make, don't make you what you don't want to make. If neither of those applies to you, then you need to SHUT UP MORE.

Right, comic... through the whole thing, I was thinking "Wow, this is really cheesy." And I think it's funny that the Loki character mis-spelled "capacities," "comprehend," "existence," and "amount" all in the same conversation. If that was intentional, and actually some sort of irony, then I commend you. Except that it wasn't really funny. Also, the strips really... dragged on sometimes, and then led up to less than satisfactory results. The graphics are less than appealing and could use a lot of work.

However, I'm not all criticism. I'm assuming this is your first web comic? Keeping up with the creation of the strip is hard enough, so congrats with that. But focus on getting good material, instead of a lot.

Anyway, good luck with this.

Thank you for that critique, Flint. I'll be sure to keep a lot of what you said in mind.

The truth is, there's actual story coming up soon, with depth and plot, but we just have to get out of the whole Introductions first.

Yes, this is my first web-comic, and I hope to keep it running for years. All my friends and their friends enjoy it, and the cheezyness is supposed to keep it lighthearted. (And I was wondering about the spelling, I thought I had fixed that...)

As for the Graphics, that was the medium it was intended for. There are alot of Sprite Comics out there, and we wanted to keep the same feel of pixelation. We could do it hand drawn and inked, but that's not the medium we wanted to use.

You might wanna make the pictures a little bit smaller... that way the pixelation will still be there, only not as bothersome.
I like bugging people. Deal with it.

Gee, I was really hoping for more than just "your spelling's bad, your jokes are shallow, and your graphics suck." Doesn't anybody out there LIKE it? :(
