Wrestling Music in AMVs?

Although I actually no longer watch the WWE. I have alot of their soundtrack CDs sitting around my house and some of their music is pretty good IMO. Especially the stuff done by actual bands. I want to know what people's opinions are of using this kind of music in AMVs. I made a Vegeta music video with one and soon afterwards in my announcement post someone responded with "Now I know why everyone hates DBZ so much" or something like that.

Well first of all most everyone hates DBZ video because there are so many of therm around even if thry are good ones.But about your question I think as long as they are good songs have at it i mean If you listen to the Lyrics of kane's theme song(Finger Eleven - Slow Chemical)it could easily fit in with an amv.

I concur...
More than likely your previous video wasn't that well recived because of the material used..*though it shouldn't matter if it was well done how many times the anime is used*
I myself have several WWE intro themes in my ideas notebook to use..among those Edge's intro as well as some old 80's and 90's stuff too.
I really need to use the DeGeneration X theme for something..

I was thinking of making a tribute to Chibodee Crocket from G Gundam with Hulk Hogan's old theme "I am a Real American" but I think that might be abit too cheesy. Alot of the songs I want to use are the Pay Per View themes that they have on the Anthology CDs.

Well it could be cheesy but that may ad to the quality if you want a video that doesn't take it self to seriously.Take one of my videos for example(i haven't uploaded it yet)its Key the Metal idol the main charchter is a robot i made the video with Styx Mr. Roboto it wasstill an ok vidoe even if it wasa little corny it depends on what you want in a video.

Doki Doki made "Nyo is War" using DiGi Charat and what I think is a wrestling song...I really have no idea since I have never made myself watch that kinda thing

Yep that counts, I should download that even though I don't know anything about that anime. That's a good song. "It's all about the game, and how you play, forgot the rest of the lyrics at the moment!"
