Enjoyment Through Interpretation
Any of you listen to Japanese music? I do. I have a lot of it. And I enjoy it almost more than music with English lyrics. I don't know the meaning of the words I'm hearing - nor do I want to know. I much rather enjoy listening to the way in which the singer sings and drawing my own conclusions as to what the song is about.
Anyone else do this?
Oh, and the Akira Soundtrack is pure musical genius. Especially the song "Tetsuo." Absolutely beautiful.

Actually, about three fourths of my music is non-English. Don't understand most of it... but I do look up translations for each and every song, to make sure I don't blast something at people that would be extremely offensive (even though people do it from cars all the time anyway
)
I have grown quite fond of J-punk and J-rock (Luna Sea, Dragon Ash early songs, MCM, Vasalla, Walrus...)
