u dont have to redo the links. the stuff link="color" vlink="color" alink="color" goes into the <body> tag.moonslayer wrote:It's too late now ( I don't want to re-do hundreds of links ). Ok I'm a little confused. You said I should switch to geocities because the advertisements arn't as bad. Well in order to do that I would have to re-upload over 200 thumbnails and re-do the links for them to match the geocities address. Not to metion the normal links.madmag9999 wrote:u dont have to redo the links. the stuff link="color" vlink="color" alink="color" goes into the <body> tag.moonslayer wrote:It's too late now ( I don't want to re-do hundreds of links ). Example:
images page link
link = < a href="angelfiresitename/images.html" >
I would then have to do this
link = < a href = "goecitiessitename/images.html" >
I would have to re-do every image link on every page because the navigation is on everypage. Not to metion other links.
Besides when I get the money I can just upgrade and have the site 100% advertisement free, plus not have to re-do all those links.

oooooooo so ur useing absolute links. see thats not a good thing. u should use the other way i forget what its called but its like:moonslayer wrote:Ok I'm a little confused. <a href="../(to go up a directory) or \foldername (to go into a folder)image>link text</a>
that way no matter were the page is u dont have to redo the links. for instance if u have them on your hd befor u upload them then they still work or if u want to change hostes then also the links will work as long as u have the same folders. the uploading 600 images could be a pain but it wouldnt take to long and it would make the site nicer. and u should use they linking way i just said 6 lines up in the futer its really much easier.

Umm... Its not bad. I'd say the worse thing'bout it is the ads. You might try www.brinkster.com for free ad-free hosting.
Also, if you buy hosting, don't get it from angelfire. Their paid hosting is as bad as their free hosting. Which means its crap. You should look around the web alot before you buy hosting.
Anyways, altogether its not bad, so keep up the good work!

Okay, my turn:
Bad:
a) No need for a "frontpage" - just my preference
b) White background - try light blue?
c) Character's need more "fleshing" in description
d) Movie Statics - how about "Movie Technical Information"?
Good:
a) Plenty of content
b) Nice summarization of characters
c) Pictures are good quality, thumbnails for larger pic would be nice
d) Excellent layout, information easily percieved and acessible
General thoughts:
I think this is a very well done website and indicates that you took a lot of time and dedication as well as creativity and planning to design it. With the work that you still plan on to add to it, i'm sure that it'll be easily another success.
Keep up the good work.
