question

Post by S{ullEosis » Mon Oct 13, 2003 10:02 am

I was wondering ive made several AMVs over the last year or so, and im starting to make them again my question is should i do my AMVs with it in mind that the person watching it has seen the anime or should i just use my best judgement. For example if you havent seen Hellsing u might think it odd that he has a demon like dog coming from his arm.

Ideally an AMV should tell it's own "story", so to be enjoyable and understood even by people who don't know the series.

A knowledge of the series is probably required to understand (complex) drama/character profile videos. If you are going to do comedy or action, then the images are usually self explicative

If you are making parody... well, I guess this usually requires prior knowledge from the viewer of what you are making parody of :P

Hope this helps :)
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
