I need info on a FF9 character

I keep seeing images in the FF9 AMV's of a character that is female, dressed in what looks to be blue feathers, and is quite cute.

Who is she? I have looked on the web and I keep finding the same info on the same main characters.

I think she might ride a white bird or dragon.

That's not a female, actually. That's a male. I can't remember his name, but he's the main bad guy...

Kuja! His name's Kuja! *slaps forehead* How could I forget that, anyway? I spent my summer in my parents' basement playing FFIX in my free time. I should remember these things.

Yah I know, I had that same thought when I played.....I'm sure I would of mistaken him for a girl if I hadden't read up on the game a little beforehand.

Actually, I didn't know Kuja was a guy until the last quarter of the game. It was certainly a shocking revelation I must say.

Kuja is probably one of my most favorite charaters in the game actually. He's actually probably one of the most destructive FF characters ever, but I've only played 6, 7, 8, and 9. I actually think that Squaresoft (now SquareEnix of course) had some real design problems with all of their villains. In FF7, Sephiroth looks somewhat like a woman (many artists have portrayed him as "girly"). In FF8, Sorceress Adel really looked like a guy to me, but she's really a woman. In FF9, Kuja looks like a woman in his normal form, but when he trances he begins to look like a man. I think that the people who came up with those characters have some issues.

Actually, I found it quite differently...
I never mistook Kuja as a guy in his normal form, but when he tranced it's like... I mean, dude, he has boobs! 0_0

But yeah, Kuja = best villian ever.

I'm sorry, it would be easy to confuse it if they hadn't been calling Kuja HE all that time. Which I believe they do at the end of his first scene, because that's where I first went "Waaaait, back up?"

Anyhoo.

Kuja, strange, strange person that he is.

(SJ, I'll have to check yours out and see if you did any better with the concept than I did last year.
