Pedophilia, a new low or an old high.

What I'd like to know is what your definations of Pedophilia is. Are you a pedophile if you're an adult and you like a teenager? Or is it just if you like a little kid that really shouldn't even be thinking about that kind of stuff yet?

I think that, by law, any sexual activity with a person under the age of 18 is pedophilia. But that's not what I think... I think it varies for each person, depending on their mental status and maturity level, but that's always hard to measure. It also has to do with how old the offender is.

I think it has to do with the mental state of the younger individual. While something like that is gradiant in a general population, 18 provides a generally safe cutoff point. There is also provision for two individuals over the age of 16 and within 3 years or age (i.e. one is 17 the other is 20), which is taking into consideration the gradiation, while preventing predation by an older individual.

Hey! no dissing Celine!
At least she wasn't a power whore like julia roberts who SLEPT her way to the position of 4th most powerful woman in Hollywood. I mean seriously! I respect Celine because she ACTUALLY has talent in her singing. Even though its not my type, I know true talent when I see it.

Its like SMB. While away from the mnicrophone he sounds like nails over a blackboard, and on the mic his voice talent matches up to Metallica and Linkin Park. Doesn't matter how much dirty blood they have in them, if you got talent then use that talent and old Celine still has that gift.

I'd like to see YOU sing as well as Celine. And if she's a millionaire then she MUST be doing something right.

but back to the topic at hand. I think paedophilia is molesting those that aren't a preteen. I can't really say 13 is paedophilia because it is accepted in Japan as a consent age. it really does depend on maturity and traditions.

as for the old times when it was acceptable, I must remind you that it only has been the recent 100-200 years that women have ACTUALLY gained a status of importance and power within the businesses. It used to be a man works and woman stays home and looks after children type relationship

That is the best way I can explain the whole accepted past thing. Yes someone appeared to have paid attention to history and classical mythology. Damn zeus and his imbred family -.- and 199 other families too.

I'd have to say that I am strongly against it....
To the point of homidial tendancies..

13-16yr olds getting with 13-19 yr olds is fine but the age needs to be no more than 3 yrs..

I'm stubborn to that point, if one of my mates said to me he was fucking a 13yr old I would spit in his face and smack him down and I'm not even a voilent person.
(mates are about 20-23)
I guess a stranger saying the same I would hate him but I wouldn't hit him because I wouldn't know that he should no better.

I've known to many victims of rape and pedofilia not to be hot blooded about it..
I mean sure you can condone a 42 yr old taking advantage of a 12 yr old because her parents didn't protect her somehow justifing that guys actions but I wouldn't let him walk again...
Well, actually depends really, I have a life now.. responcibilities... I would so much want to kill those sort of people in some ungodly way but to do so would forfiet my own life..

I guess if my love was to tire of me, and i knew my family would be looked after then I would give way to vengance and possible go antividualists.
