Somebody should mention few facts to Bush

Then i reccomend you have the fortitude to call someone on their opinion. If you're hiding behind a poll, then have the fortitude to state that YOU think the American people (if they're the ones on the poll you're making a scrupulous reference to) have a stupid view on who was linked to 9-11.

I sure don't see anyone around me that thinks that. And i work inside the perimeter in Atlanta.

You werent the one making a point about Bush linking 9-11 to Iraq, but if you consider yourself balanced, you'll have to make a serious attempt at an arguement with some substantiation about the kind of subterfuge you're inferring.

May I point something out?

Saddam raped babies for lunch and ate women. And Bush made good throughout. I put him down and took off my pants. And felt free.

The argument does not resolve a paradigm. Caged rocks are still rocks. Shaking ellipses are just that.

First of all, I don't consider my opinions balanced. I dare to say no-one in this forum can discuss about anything without being somehow biased to one way or the another.

I will retract a little. Bush DID directly hint that Iraq was involved in 9/11. You can read from white house texts here: http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases ... 319-1.html

Sure it mentions UN resolution, but it also has this part:

(2) acting pursuant to the Constitution and Public Law 107-243 is consistent with the United States and other countries continuing to take the necessary actions against international terrorists and terrorist organizations, including those nations, organizations, or persons who planned, authorized, committed, or aided the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001.

Now you can say that those words don't express Iraq specificly, but since earlier part was basicly a declaration of war against Iraq, I really don't care if you try to pull some 'technicality' like that.

If you don't know people who believe Saddam was behind 9/11, good for you is all I can say.

About that 'mindfuck'. Here are few examples:

With nuclear arms or a full arsenal of chemical and biological weapons, Saddam Hussein could resume his ambitions of conquest in the Middle East and create deadly havoc in that region. And this Congress and the America people must recognize another threat. Evidence from intelligence sources, secret communications, and statements by people now in custody reveal that Saddam Hussein aids and protects terrorists, including members of al Qaeda. Secretly, and without fingerprints, he could provide one of his hidden weapons to terrorists, or help them develop their own.

Before September the 11th, many in the world believed that Saddam Hussein could be contained. But chemical agents, lethal viruses and shadowy terrorist networks are not easily contained. Imagine those 19 hijackers with other weapons and other plans -- this time armed by Saddam Hussein. It would take one vial, one canister, one crate slipped into this country to bring a day of horror like none we have ever known. We will do everything in our power to make sure that that day never comes. (Applause.)
