Actually, no. I buy my own OSTs, and I put up the tracklistings on the site. Even though I pay 50-60 USD per OST, I am still willing to put up ONLY 5 whole tracks per disc per OST. The only reason I am asking for others to donate is because there is NO WAY I could POSSIBLY own EVERY OST ever created(Nor would I want to, to begin with).
All I am asking is for you to state which OSTs you have, if You WANT to donate, and further instructions if I don't have the OST you do.

Now, I don't have the .hack//liminality soundtrack. Since everyone is claiming that I'm going to steal said OST, I'll give you the donating instructions(IF YOU WANT TO DONATE) here.
Email me (
Q_mun@hotmail.com) the name of your OST(.hack//Liminality), with the tracklisting(if you can translate it).
If You can, also email me, attached, 5 tracks. I really don't care what the bitrate or format of it is, it can be .rm 32kb/s for all I care. All I want is 5 of your favorie tracks per disc per CD.
If you cannot email the tracks, we can either arrange for a time to transfer the files over IM, or I can give you a username and temporary password to upload the songs directly.

The site was not made to be a leech site, and I never said "If you have so-and-so soundtrack you MUST donate to me!!" I said "If you have OSTs, would you be WILLING to donate to me".
In my personal opinion, 30 seconds of a song is not enough to sample the music. So I only provide 5 tracks per CD per OST to sample, and a seperate page per each OST with links such as the official distributor, and then other places where you could get said OST.
There's also a link from the main page listing ALL official distributors, and all links where you can buy all the OSTs on the site(this is why the update is taking so long; I'm completely redesigning the site).
Now, there are two outcomes. The person who downloads said five tracks can stash them on their computer and loop them conituiously or burn them to a CD(Which undoubtedly will happen =\). Or, they can say something like "Hey, these five tracks sound good to me, maybe I should buy the soundtrack"(Which is what I'm aiming for).
Sure, they can search kazaa or something, but they could do that without the site anyway, and in most cases, the songs arn't there to begin with (I used to search on kazaa for OST songs before I bought my own).
In a nutshell, the site is supposed to expose OSTs. If you haven't seen AA anime, would you buy it's soundtrack without sampling it first? No.
Some sites only list the tracklistings for anime/game OSTs. While that's fine, even if the tracklistings have pretty names, would you buy the OST for AA anime based solely on the track names? I wouldn't.
That's why I made this site. So even if you haven't seen AA anime, you can buy AA's OST fully satisfied because you listened to five full tracks of AA's OST.
Sure, you say 30 seconds, but there's been a few times when I've listened to 30 second samples, liked them, and then when I bought the OST I was mortified. That was 50-60 USD down the drain. I don't want that to happen to anybody else.
Not to mention that most sites where you can buy the OSTs don't have tracklisitings to begin with, or there's only half a tracklisting. Some people cannot read Japanese, and I'd really like to know what these symbols stand for on the back of my CD.
Where do I go?
There's plenty of tracklisting sites(I've had to search them all for my site) but 50% of them have a small selection and I have to keep hopping to other sites.
On the other hand, the two sites I found with an extensive list of tracklisting both have no translated the tracks. Something like "Tsubasa no Kami"(randomly thought up) does not help people who do not know Japanese. So even though they have the symbols translitherated, it still means nothing.
That's the other purpose of this site-- To translate ever single track into english. Instead of having "Tsubasa no Kami" listed, it would be "Wing Goddess" or "Goddess of the Wings". THIS helps(for me).
Hope that sheds more light to the subject, and again, I'm not FORCING you to donate, I'm only saying "Are you WILLING to".
